PAPA’S CHAMPS: Téo Chapelier
by Cyrus Sepahbodi |
Papa & Barkley believes that cannabis is not just an individual experience, but a plant has the power to change lives. Our mission is to unlock the power of the plant to improve people’s lives, and we achieve that mission by empowering our customers and celebrating individuals who have made our products their own. Today, we’d like to celebrate one of our heroes: our newest Papa’s Champ, Téo Chapelier.
USING CBD DURING YOGA PRACTICE
Born and raised in South of France, Téo is a professional yogi and practitioner of meditation. Téo teaches yoga in Los Angeles and has incorporated Papa & Barkley products into his daily life. An advocate of health and wellness, Téo uses CBD in some of his practices because of the natural terpenes and healing cannabinoids present in Papa & Barkley products.
More about Téo: At the age of 18, he left his country and traveled the world for 4 years, always looking for the next place to go. His path led him to Los Angeles, California where he discovered the art of yoga and finally found balance in his life. Since then, his passion keeps growing stronger with each passing day. Yoga allows him to align himself with his true Self. As a teacher and student, he is humbled every time he gets to share his practice and help others grow and transform. By committing to a daily practice he knows that we create new patterns of light and abundance in our lives. We learn to study our own mind and body in our quest for the true Self. Yoga brought out the best in him and he is excited to share it with you.
“Teaching Yoga over 20 hours a week can be really challenging when your body feels tired or achy. Since I’ve been using Papa’s and Barkley products I’ve noticed that I recover a lot faster. I used to wake up feeling very stiff and it was sometimes hard to get my day started. I’ve been taking 30mg in the morning and apply some of the relief balm wherever I feel a little sore or achy and within minutes I am ready to go.”
But pairing yoga and CBD isn’t the only practice that can help people. While many people are turning to CBD as a viable medicine to treat discomfort, some individuals receive benefits from incorporating the cannabinoid as a tool to help reduce stress during their meditation practice. There’s actual medical evidence of how CBD, when paired with Yoga and meditation, can help with stress reduction and improve your emotional well-being.
“Incorporating CBD in my daily routine has been such a game changer for me, my mind has become more clear and my body feels more comfortable.”
CBD & MEDITATION
Using meditation to focus and be more present to yourself as well as your surroundings is a great way to reduce stress. Many people are also adding CBD to their practice to help center themselves and focus their attention on being present. CBD is non-intoxicating and can provide comfort from minor aches, but when combined with mindfulness practices like yoga and meditation, the benefits are complimentary.
“I even use [Papa & Barkley] during my Yoga and meditation practice because CBD is very potent in terpenes but doesn’t have any psychoactive effects it is the best ally to help you relax and get more in touch with yourself while staying lucid.”
CBD is changing the way people manage their discomfort, stress levels, emotional well-being, and sleep habits. Papa & Barkley believes in the power of cannabis as a viable medicine to combat those ailments. If you practice meditation and yoga, CBD can take your experience to another level by providing focus, helping you find comfort from injuries, and leave you with a sense of calm.
“The more I share CBD with people around me, the more I realize how healing it is. I have recommended it to people who are recovering from physical injury, dealing with a lot of stress, or even just having trouble sleeping, and I’ve seen a drastic improvement in their lives. It is truly amazing that we live in an era where these products have become easily accessible.”
